Our new headquarters will be built in the industrial area in Alzenau, Germany by mid-2020. Today, our solutions for drinking water and wastewater networks are in daily use on construction sites all over the world. Due to the stable growth of the past few years, capacity limits have arisen at our current headquarters, which have led to the construction of a new building. The aim was not just to increase the size of the building, but in particular to ensure the optimum design of the work processes and the introduction of digital infrastructures.
The relocation and new building to the new company location in Alzenau has been planned for more than a year. The basic structure of the production building and the space for the office complex can already be seen today. The symbolic ground-breaking ceremony took place on Thursday, August 22, 2019 – 9:00 a.m.
On site were Norbert and Ivonne Olbrich, the mayor of Alzenau, Dr. Legner and Mr. Horn, managing director of Lig Bau GmbH. The mayor especially thanked them for the target-oriented and sympathetic cooperation that was already present at the planning stage of the project and the resulting simplified processes around the construction plan. For the business location Alzenau, the new company that operates in the high-tech industry offers a great added value, Legner continued. In future, IBG will not only provide the city with additional income, enabling it to maintain an expanded infrastructure that speaks for the high quality of life in the city as a whole, but will also create attractive education and jobs locally. Our main goal is the continuous development of potential export markets with products “made in ALZENAU”.
Last but not least, Norbert Olbrich expressed his special thanks to all parties involved and is looking forward to a successful start in 2020.
